The founder of the band – Djei was born in the Ivory Coast. After a few years he moved to France where he spent his youth. His life has always been connected with reggae and rhythm & blues - he sang and played bass guitar, guitar and percussion. In 1996 Djei came to Prague to uncover the hidden possibilities of „new Europe“. After a short settling period he joined the local music scene, played with the band Plasma, co-operated with domestic artists (e.g. Stephunk T) and at the turn of the Millenium founded a band called Hermakuti. Throughout this time he has produced various music projects.

Carmen studied piano at Conservatoire in her native country – Spain, where she also graduated in Journalism. When she moved to Prague, she sang with the Hermakuti band for three years. After the band split up, she co-operated with plenty of DJs and MCs (e.g. Henry D, DJ Mosquito). Now this glamorous Lady represents a fascinating and dazzling fragrance of United Flavour.

Jaro was born in the city of Příbram and grew up in a small village in Central Bohemia. As a little boy he used to play the accordion. However, he soon found out that was not the right thing and replaced accordion with percussion. He has studied it since then. Jaro played in a funk band called Hypermobility (Příbram) and Bůhví. He´s the calmest member of UF.

Split started to play the piano by the age of three. He studied fundamentals of piano playing in his hometown – Poprad. He also learnt a lot by listening to Sting and is a renowned “Sting connoisseur”. He regularly visited jazz workshops and participated in various jazz, funk and pop projects (April Quintet, M. Varga Band, Funk Research, etc.) In his free time Split attends Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Charles University. He is an expert in irregular rhythms.

Standa comes from an East Bohemian city called Hronov, which is a birthplace of Alois Jirásek. He got to music quite early when he was young – he played tenor and bass flugelhorn. Later he left both wind-instruments behind and started to study percussion with a big enthusiasm because he got really taken with it. He has this special gift to analyse every single issue in detail, admires Eastern philosophies and follows them. He played in several funk bands (Vinohrady, Hraczki). His role in United Flavoured is a percussion player. Standa admires W. Calhoun and L. Doksanský.

Velocity - A native of Nymburk, a multigenre multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, musical arranger and singer. His enthusiasm is remarkable; he copes with three “jobs” at the same time – music, being a handyman and drinking with mates. He is able to get any kind of musical equipment you can imagine (btw. he owns a half of it…). Moreover, he knows how to repair all this stuff. His dream is to buy a partly dilapidated house and refurbish it completely without anyone’s help. He’s a smoker. He’s already played with almost everyone. Almost everywhere.

Hailing from Costa Mesa,California,Bill landed in CZ in 2008 to be with his Czech wife,Michaela and his two step children.He brings a deep appreciation for Reggae/World music and many years of experience playing reggae guitar (playing on a 40 city 1995 Reggae Sunsplash tour, playing at Bill Clintons presidential inaguration, openening for Jimmy Cliff,Joseph Hill and Culture,Burning Spear,Bunny Wailer,Aswad,Steel Pulse and many others..) Drawing from a variety of musical influences and life experiences he brings a unique perspective to the international UF lineup.
