Biography

An eclectic band with energetic music and poignant lyrics served up by charismatic Spanish front- woman Carmen and five experienced international musicians (Ivory Coast, Czech Republic). United Flavour's live performance creates a driving, groove oriented atmosphere, and lead vocalist Carmen has an uncanny knack for connecting with the audience on an intimate level. Their performances have impressed scores of European festivals and clubs and on several occasions the band has sold out the world famous Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.

United Flavour has appeared at many summer music festivals and European reggae festivals opening for such artists as Manu Chao, Shaggy, Buju Banton, Israel Vibration, Kelis, Ward 21, Gentleman and others. United Flavour has won over the Slovakian, Polish, Spanish, Austrian, German, Hungarian and the Swiss music market and music lovers. Through their performance and lyrics, the band wants to convey the message that people of different nationalities, origins, faiths and beliefs can work together without problems, conflicts or violence. Moreover, they can mutually enrich each other.

United Flavour's first album, Unity, was released in 2007 and spawned their first hit single, Revolution. United Flavour’s next studio album Attitude was released in March 2011 and features international artists such as Konshens and Ward21 from Jamaica, Ras Kuko and Bratt from Spain, Cheeba from Poland, King Kalabash and Baron Black from Martinique and many others. The album was created together by people of fourteen nationalities, which gives it real international ‘flavour‘.

In February 2015 United Flavour released brand new song Irie feat. Criminal. The song is part of riddim selection Pineapple Kush. The riddim is presented by German singer U-cee and produced by United Flavour’s bass player and producer Djei Gogo. Pineapple Kush brings you international top- artists on a damn hot piece of steppas-riddim: Sizzla, Anthony B, U-cee and others.

Continuing their musical journey, United Flavour's recent endeavors have solidified their status as a dynamic force on the Czech music scene.
